Hey guys!
How have you all been?
Things are still crazy around here, but we have been able to get a few things finished.
My submission to the party this week is one of my Valentine projects.
I love decorating for Valentines.
Who am I kidding?
I like decorating for all the monthly "fun" days...
Anyways...
This started out as a styrofoam heart.
I wrapped red cellophane around the whole thing.
Then I hot glued red glass pebbles... you know the ones -vase filler.
This one is heavy!
But it kind of has an optical-illusion effect!
It looks so fun on my azealea pink accent wall!
I HEART IT!

ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting! :)
Your heart is so lovely! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the wreath!!! I think I might try something with those red pebbles, too!
ReplyDeleteI want a heart wreath but most I find are too trite. I love everything about your wreath! It's shiny, modern, and the way you hung it on it's side makes me like it even more. How many packages of red glass pieces did it take to make it?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your heart wreath Allie! Its soo gorgeous. I love it against your pink wall too. So pretty! I recently saw some red pebbles like that, and was thinking they would be useful for some v-day decor.. I may just have to copy your idea! Where did you find the styrofoam heart?

I LOVE this. Just bought my wreath form and red glass bead thingies! I could not for the life of me find any red cellophane though... do you think it would still look all right if I just spray painted the wreath form red before gluing the beads on?
