How have you been?
I have been pretty busy but have finally had a few moments to take some pictures to share with you all!
Last week I was working on a baby-quilt for one of my clients.
She informed me that the quilt had to be gender neutral but otherwise, I could pretty much do whatever I wanted.
Did you know, there really isn't such a thing as "gender neutral"???
But I won't get started down that path. I might have to rant.
So.... I decided given a few things she told me about the mom-to-be, that brights would be a good starting point.
So, I carried on with my "modern quilting" self and ended up with the snuggliest baby quilt ever!
The back has super soft plush and satin and the front is geometric brights in a modern stripe pattern.
I assembled the binding to match and coordinate the striped section of the quilt.

ReplyDeleteI love the bright colors and the rounded edges on the quilt! I have never tried to do the pieced binding on a quilt.I love the look of it! I may just have to give that a try :o)
