Making It With Allie - The "Jill" Wrap

This is Jill.
She another one of those Super-Women.
I really can not get over all she is able to do. And she does it WELL!
Jill is such a very supportive person, that in March when my mother was turning 60,
she let us invade her house, and graciously hosted it for us!

Recently, I have been preparing to open an online outlet for some of the items I make.
It's called
Update!
We have settled on a home!
Click the picture above to see what's there!
Be sure to bookmark it so you can see what's new as,
I will be adding more soon!
I will also be adding Holiday fabrics and styles and
those are sure to go fast,
so hop on over and have a look!

I have yet to make a concrete decision on where this online store will be "parked",
So, for now, you can email me if you have a request, would like information or would like to purchase.

So, with that announcement out of the way,
Along with the Belle-Wrap and the Tarynne shirt,
this new wrap, Jill, will also be available.
The Jill is VERY versatile and perfect for the in-between weather!
It is made from yarn dyed Cotton/Spandex knit.
I love the yarn-dyed -it doesn't ever fade and the print is the same on the inside as outside!
But this one will be very pretty in a Stretch Velvet for those Winter-Holiday parties.
So here is Jill, and a few different ways to wear it.

Sinus Infection

The little bug has developed a raging sinus infection.
We had actually started wondering if she could hear anymore and why she was so cranky....
If only I could see the future we would have opted for pre-emptive antibiotics two weeks ago.
Probably not. Don't want ineffective antibiotics out there....
Anyways, within an hour of the first dose, AuBrynne's nose-faucet had been turned off.
DRY.
For the first time in two weeks!
Now we just need for that cough to take a hike!
At any rate, We are going to take a moment and hit the pause button on the sewing for a quick minute.  If I'm lucky, I might get what I planned, up later on today.
But, it looks like broiled grapefruits will be put to the top of the grocery list in the morning.
See you all extremely soon!

Sunday Smiles

This little girl would be fun to have around... For a minute or two. Too cute.
I normally think it's WAY easier to understand little french speakers. Because they don't talk so fast.
But not this little one!
But, she is still very easy to understand, anyway.
And, if you need them, there are subtitles.
Anyways, it's story-time!

Whoa!  Don't want to work there...

Candy-Corn Anyone?

Many of you have made Candy-Corn outfits.
In fact, the ladies over at Someday Crafts, have a cute little link party going on called
It's dedicated to, you guessed it -All crafts Candy-Corn related.
And guess what?!
I just happen to have one of those!
I was getting ready to post this and stumbled into the party!
So, I'm linking it up there.
If you haven't done so, you should hop over there and do the same.

So, here is our newest dress.
I started with white cotton/spandex knit.
I thought for a moment about dyeing some fabric to orange and yellow.
Then, decided that would be pretty run of the mill.
So, I pulled out some wholly-nylon and some hotfix jewels
(have I told you that I'm actually in love with these?)
and went to town.

And it turned out so cute!
It's pretty Mod.
And she wanted a matching hair-do-dod too.
So, she got one of those too.

I am also linking this little confection up HERE!
