Candy-Corn Anyone?

Many of you have made Candy-Corn outfits.
In fact, the ladies over at Someday Crafts, have a cute little link party going on called
It's dedicated to, you guessed it -All crafts Candy-Corn related.
And guess what?!
I just happen to have one of those!
I was getting ready to post this and stumbled into the party!
So, I'm linking it up there.
If you haven't done so, you should hop over there and do the same.

So, here is our newest dress.
I started with white cotton/spandex knit.
I thought for a moment about dyeing some fabric to orange and yellow.
Then, decided that would be pretty run of the mill.
So, I pulled out some wholly-nylon and some hotfix jewels
(have I told you that I'm actually in love with these?)
and went to town.

And it turned out so cute!
It's pretty Mod.
And she wanted a matching hair-do-dod too.
So, she got one of those too.

I am also linking this little confection up HERE!

  15. Totally and completly adorable! I LOVE IT!!! You are amazing at making clothes... I can't sew actual clothing to save my life. Have you seen the movie the trouble with angels and Rachael is trying to make a lime green cocktail dress. I consider myself something like that... not so good. So if you are in the DFW area anytime and feel like giving a sewing lesson... just let me know. ;o) SUPER CUTE!!
