Making It With Allie - Featured Blogger - Me and My Thrifty Ideas

Welcome back to this week's
Making It With Allie!
I am Super excited to introduce you to this week's party sponsor!
A new BbF of mine and her name is Amy!

She has this SUPER cute blog:
Me and My Thrifty Ideas
SERIOUSLY Adorable AND Thrifty stuff!
You would not believe!!
And this girl is WICKED-SMART!
Especially when it comes to blog-technical stuff...
Ask her, I bet she will help you figure out your issue!!
I am SO excited to have her around!
SO go and check her blog out and say hi!
Click her "follow" button, cuz you will want to have her posts come up in your reader!
Take it away Amy!

Hi everyone! My name is Amy and I am visiting from mE & mY tHrIfTy IdEaS.
I am so super excited to be here today to share a couple thrifty projects I have made.
Before we get to that I wanted to announce that I just recently reached my 100 Follower milestone!
And decided to celebrate by having a Giveaway!
I figured since this is the cutest blog around I should celebrate in style.  The winner will be randomly generated and announced on both blogs March 2nd.
So please come on over and enter!!
I am giving out one of my handmade Barn Stars

My philosophy for creating/crafting is using what I already have or can get my hands on for super cheap.
I also LOVE paint chips.  How awesome and free are they though?
Basically I am a DIYer mom who is tackling home decor one thrifty project at a time.
Today I wanted to share just a few projects that I hope you find interesting...

DIY Twine Decorative Balls
Going Strong Sign
Easter Egg

Thanks again to Allie for allowing me to strut my stuff!
I would love for you to stop by, say hello and stay awhile.

Thank You Amy!
 And guess what??
I am going to give away a kit to another lucky winner
that includes all of the stuff to make yourself one of the Barn Stars!
So, here is what you have to do to enter to win!
~Make sure you are a follower both here and over at Amy's
(This is a must to be eligable)
~Leave a comment on either blog on
where you will put your Barn Star in your home
So this means, if you leave us both a comment you actually have a better chance of winning,
as there will be two drawings.
The winners will be announced at both blogs on March 2nd.
 So, good luck!!
Now, Let's get to the

  6. Thanks for hosting this linky party! I'm now a follower -- I came over from Me & My Thrifty Ideas.

I think the barn star is adorable -- like all the other ideas from Me & My Thrifty Ideas! I would either put the barn star in the hallway among a bunch of photographs on the wall or I would save it and give it to a good friend of mine on her birthday because she loves this sort of thing.
