Making It With Allie - October Frights

Welcome Friends!

I am SO glad to see you all this week!

I have a fun little project to join in the party this week!

Yes, I can hear your muffled sniggering at my lack of blogging lately... But I'm trying!

Anyways, I have been meaning to make an October-Halloween Advent Calendar for a long time.

Well, I found the time to actually get it done.

And well, It has turned more into a fun counting-practice game for little AuBrynne more than it is an Advent.  But really, that is ok! We don't need any candy around here...

I layered Halloweeny papers and Stickers onto magnet sheets to stick them onto some galvanized sheeting. 

I commandeered an old frame from the attic and covered it with peridot glitter paint for a final touch. 

I am with AuBrynne - I love that it's Glam-Spooky.

Those of you who know me, know that I prefer to use my Silhouette machine for anything I can.  But you will notice that I had to use more "traditional" scrapping  embellishments because my Silhouette has c**pped out.  This was HUGELY frustrating!!

And its actually the 3rd replacement since April of this year!! Yes, I am frustrated.

Anybody have a suggestions on a more reliable cutter that will cut vinyl, fabric and rhinestone template material - PLEASE LEAVE ME AN EMAIL with your suggestions!
