I've Gone Batty

I have absolutely gone batty!
Lot's of things going on around here and that statement is no joke!
But -there is a story behind this project.

You see, for some reason,
I don't think I have ever been told the real reason,
my Father's nick-name is "Bat"
My cousins all called him "Uncle-Bat"
As long as I can remember, his friends called him "Bat"
He even has a belt buckle that is in the shape of a bat!

So, when I saw this adorable creation at Ameroonie-Designs few weeks ago,
I thought it would be a perfect little surprise gift for Dad.
And when I saw this remnant piece of embossed vinyl fabric, I knew it had to be done.
So, I set out and cut a bunch of bats.
Then I pulled out my new favorite Blinger- Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paint
and applied it to the back of each bat.
Then all the bats, except one got little black rhinestone eyes.
That lone bat, got red eyes.
Then I arranged them to be flying out of the corner.
I think it turned out really cute!
So, Dad, you gonna tell us why your called "Bat"???

  5. This is amazingly creative. Bats haven't been around too much this year, mostly crows and skeletons. You did a great job, I like that one of the bats is different.
